Back from the dead... after 10 years!

Wow, that’s been a long, long time ago… It’s been almost 10 years since I made my first (and also my last) post on this blog… I started it back in the days when I was only 14 years of age and now I’m already 24… Well, time flies!

When I started this blog, I was really hyped to be playing Mordheim. I got inspired a year earlier in 2007 after finding out a video on YouTube from Thomas and his friends of The Boring Mordheim Blog. I still remember this moment when I thought, this is really, really cool! What I liked about Mordheim, is that you build a warband of really characterful miniatures and the progress they can make during a campaign. It really felt like an awesome game when I read about it and couldn't wait to get started.

So soon after, I started building some random miniatures for Mordheim. The first I made were the following, a monkey I sculpted from Greenstuff and his companion. (Picture isn't of the best quality, haha!)

After that, it was time to start a warband! But I didn't realize how hard it was to choose a warband you really liked, so I switched back and forth between warbands alot and never really finished one. I remember always starting something and really be excited, only to switch to something else soon after being inspired by all of the wonderful miniatures made by others online. This resulted in alot of unfinished warbands, like my Witch Hunters that I built in 2008...

But things change! I used to look back at all the blogs I made in the past, which made me realize it's really fun to look back at the things you did! So I made up my mind and went back to revive this blog after being absent for a long time. Back in the days, I really wanted this blog to be focused on Mordheim only. This made it way harder to keep up the posting, since I tend to switch between different games often. So this time I'm really going to try to stick around and keep this blog up and running!

To do this, I decided that I will not post only about Mordheim, but about all my wargaming experiences I have togheter with friends and the miniatures me and my friends paint! Like for example, we're currently all working on Blood Bowl teams! I hope this will make it easier to keep the blog alive. :) So expect some posts of our Blood Bowl team in the near future!

Well, that's all for now... Untill next time,
